1. Why no consent is requested
This site uses technical cookies and nothing else: no profiling, no advertising, no third-party cookies loaded automatically. Consent is not required for technical cookies under Article 122 of the Italian Data Protection Code and the Garante's Guidelines of 10 June 2021. The notice shown on your first visit is therefore an information notice, not a request for consent.
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser so that, on the next page, it can retrieve information it needs. Some are necessary for the site to work; others, which are not present here, follow people from one site to another to show advertising.

None of these cookies profiles you, and none can be read by advertisers.
4. Visit statistics
The site's visit counter uses no cookies and stores no identifier in your browser: it calculates a daily fingerprint from the IP address and the browser, with a random value that is deleted after two days. How it works, and why it does not identify people, is explained in the Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party content
The contact page offers a Google Maps map. The map is not loaded automatically: it is requested from Google's servers only when you press the button that activates it. From that moment Google may set its own cookies under its privacy policy. Alternatively, the button next to it opens the address directly in your maps application, without loading anything into the page.
- Fonts are hosted on the site itself: no external font service.
- The PDF documents in the articles are served from the site's own domain.
- No social buttons, no embedded videos, no advertising pixels.
6. How to manage them
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, for all sites or just one. Here you can block them without any effect on reading the site; blocking the session cookie may prevent the contact form from being sent.
